The N.E.W.T. conducts seminars in various schools and other establishments to promote wildlife conservation, responsible pet keeping, and the exotic pet hobby.
This is to get people up close and personal to the N.E.W.T.'s goals as well as their animals.
The seminar topics range form wildlife conservation to exotic pet care.
Wildlife Rescue and Release
The N.E.W.T. performs wildlife rescue and release when animals are encountered by people.
Usually these are animals that people are afraid of but are not sure on how to deal with them.
The Organization identifies the animals,then releases them to various bio diverse areas in the province.
Animal Exhibits
The N.E.W.T. holds animal exhibits at least once per year. this is one of the organization's biggest activities.
Animal exhibits such as the Exotic Encounter helps bring people up close and personal to various animals that normally they would only see from far away.
They learn not only about the animals but how they are kept. introducing them to the exotic pet hobby.
